Payment Deadline, Refund, and Financial Aid Policies
Payment Deadline Policy:
All payments for PacMUN will be due 2 weeks after the registration deadline. If a delegation registers for Early Registration, payment will be due 2 weeks after Early Registration closes. If a delegation registers for Regular Registration, payment will be due 2 weeks after Regular Registration closes. If a delegation is paying by check, proof that a check for the full amount has been mailed will be sufficient for meeting the deadline. If a delegation fails to meet the payment deadline for Early Registration, fees will increase to the Regular Registration rate. If a delegation fails to meet the payment deadline for Regular Registration, a $100 per delegation late fee will be added to delegate fees. We cannot guarantee space for any additional delegates requested after the Regular Registration deadline. For any questions or concerns, please reach out to Jackie Osaki (josaki@alumni.stanford.edu).
Refund Policy:
PacMUN will not issue refunds once payment is received. For any questions or concerns, please reach out to Jackie Osaki (josaki@alumni.stanford.edu).
Financial Aid Policy:
The Stevens Foundation is proud to offer financial aid to delegations across the Hawaiian islands. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer financial aid to off island schools at this time. For delegations that are requesting waived delegate fees, we require a letter certifying and identifying the students in need of financial aid. For delegations requesting travel assistance, the foundation offers aid for airfare and hotel accommodations (4 students per room) for a minimum delegation of 8 students and 1 advisor / chaperone. Delegations requesting travel assistance must cover the cost of registration. Once registration fees are paid, the foundation will work with the delegation to arrange travel. All requests for financial aid must be made by the posted deadline.
Acceptance of any financial aid requires that delegates attend all parts of the conference. Should a delegate fail to attend all parts of the conference, the school will be responsible for reimbursing the foundation for all costs incurred including the amount spent on financial aid, change fees, and or cancellations.
Exceptions to this policy may be made on a case by case basis. For any questions or concerns, please reach out to Jackie Osaki (josaki@alumni.stanford.edu).
